Alienware is offering up $200 when you trade in a PlayStation 3 with at least a 60GB hard drive, a Wii, and Xbox 360s that aren't any older than the Slim model

If you were thinking of upgrading your PC for the wave of Next-Gen Games, now's the time. After the rebate, the Alienware X51, Featuring the newest generation of i7 Processors, will only cost you $499, which, with the basic specs, will allow you to play most new games on at least medium settings, similar to how most next-gen games will look on consoles, though of course, with room for future upgrades.

Activision Calls out to Rockstar Games

With all the Records currently held by Rockstar's latest hit, GTA V, Activision thinks that Rockstar is getting too comfortable.

In a recent interview, Activision UK Senior Brand Member Kevin Flynn said that the release of Call of Duty: Ghosts will be a wake up call for other companies that think they dominate the market.

"Congratulations to the team at Rockstar for their success," he said, before adding, "We look forward to getting the record back before the next GTA title."

COD: Ghosts is set for a November 5 release on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U, with the PS4 and Xbox One versions available at the consoles launch.

$500,000 In-Game money for GTA Online players

As compensation for the "hiccups" that GTA Online has been having since its launch earlier this month, Rockstar has announced that players will receive two payments of $250,000 each, with the first payment arriving as early as next week.

"In order to keep the current worldwide in-game economy balanced," says Rockstar, "we will be providing this GTA $ to players via two deposits of $250,000. We will announce specific dates as soon as possible, but are currently hoping to be able to make the first deposit by the end of next week (after we’ve confirmed that issues causing game progress loss have been fixed) with the second installment to happen by the end of the month."

"For players who experienced cloud server errors, connection issues, and lost game progress and characters in these first days of GTA Online, we hope this GTA$ helps to facilitate a fresh start or makes your continued life in Los Santos and Blaine County extra sweet."

Update 1.04 is said to be released next week, which will provide the players the cash, and clear up vanishing vehicles as well.

[PS3 - NEWS] Drakengard 3 coming to NA shores by 2014

A Couple of months back, Square Enix announced that the third installment to their Drakengard Franchise will be released in Japan this coming December, now Square Enix says that it will arrive in North America by 2014. No Specific date mentioned.

Even though this is the Third Installment, Drakengard 3 is set as a prequel to the first Drakengard game released a decade ago for the Playstation 2.

PS3 Software Update (v.4.50)

Heads up, PS3 Users, Sony Network Entertainment released a memo that later today, the next update for their PS3 will be available.

Some of the enhancements you'll find when you update your PS3 to version 4.50

• Auto Download of system software updates has been expanded to support all PSN Users
• Auto Download support of purchases made on the Sony Entertainment Network online store will be made available to all PSN Users
• New Options for Trophy Privacy settings will allow users to set which Trophies are visible
• Data can now be transferred from PS3 to Vita using Wifi or an Ethernet Connection

With the Auto Download feature, users can set a two hour interval for the PS3 to turn on from Standby-mode and check for updates for installed software and download the updates and install it automatically.
