Sony to Help the Relief Efforts for those Affected by Super Typhoon Yolanda

With the PS4 mere days away from release, Sony Computer Entertainment has announced earlier that it will contribute ¥15 million (approx $150,000) for the relief efforts of those affected by the recent super typhoon, Yolanda in the Philippines, with a death toll estimated at 10,000.

"Sony sends its sincerest condolences to all those affected by Typhoon Haiyan and wishes for a full and swift recovery," the company said in a statement.

In addition to the $150,000, Sony will provide 400 emergency radios to local communities.
