Japanese Media company, Nikkei, has reported that the Sega Dream Company will purchase Index Corporation for 14 Billion Yen which roughly translates to 141.6 Million USD. In doing so Sega says it will "gain access to prominent IPs" and can "expect to achieve steady flows of revenue."
the buyout will be effective the first of November, later this year.
Index Corporation declared bankruptcy earlier this year, with a debt of 24.5 Billion Yen.
